About Us
Still in the Family
Otorohanga Kiwi Holiday Park has been operating for 24 years. Started from an idea from Mark and Billie-Ann Gadd 30 years ago. Both having worked at New Zealands iconic tourist destinations Milford Sound and Waitomo Caves, they could see the potential for a Holiday Park in the King Country town Otorohanga. In 1998 Mark Passed away and the Holiday Park idea was on hold. Billie-Ann kept the dream alive and opened as a holiday park in 2000. Kelvin joined Billie-Ann at the park in 2001 and eloped to Las Vegas in 2007.
Kelvin’s Grandchildren have been part of the holiday park, helping with the big cleaning days and photo models for our marketing.
Now Billie-Ann’s Grandchildren will be seen around the park. Her son Neville is the maintenance manager and green fingered daughter-in law Jess, will be seen on the mover and is now in the process of changing Billie-Ann’s plain garden shrubs to beautiful roses and flowering hydrangeas.
